With the commence of Dubai Fashion Week tomorrow many emerging talents will get the opportunity to showcase their designs.  Two very special sisters who have started their label back in 2009 are getting the chance to do just that! Marayem is an abaya label that focuses on intricate designs, details and flow of the beautiful black fabric that is adorned by the women in the Middle East.  Their designs are for the modern, young woman who is versatile and stylish.  If you’re lucky enough to have a ticket to watch their show great but if you’re like many who dont; you can visit Ush Gallery to see their collection there.

Marayem Abbayas:
Formed in mid-2009, Marayem Abbayas was the brainchild of two creative
and fashion loving sisters; Mariam and Fatima Mostafa. The two Emirati
sisters formed the brand with one goal in mind: to fuse the latest
fashion trends of Europe with the traditional abbayas of the Arabian
Gulf without losing the essence of the abbaya, its modesty.

The two sisters come from diverse educational backgrounds. Mariam, the
creative designer of the brand makes use of her visual communications
degree, while Fatima ensures the brands sound financials with the help
of her Finance degree.

Marayem Abbayas started off with the two sisters exhibiting their
pieces to close friends and families from the comfort of their home,
however with new and ambitious plans Marayam Abbayas will soon be show
piecing their latest collection at the prestigious USH Gallery.
