Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2011
Yes the collection is Autumn/Winter (my fav season) hence the covered up collection but it definitely does look like middle eastern islamic modest clothing was an inspiration. Check out the falcon! I love it!! Great to see Hejab-alike fashion on the catwalk! Any form of modestified styles is great to see.
Christophe Lemaire’s first collection for Hermes was a change from Gaultier’s, but it certainly was elegant, with sweeping caftans, elongated kurtas, elegant kimonos in a palette that ranged from neutrals to imperial red, orange, and jade green.

I am absolutely blown away by this post! I had no idea that Hermes did a line catered towards muslim women. I absolutely love it! The outfits are beautiful, modern and although modest prove that these styles can still be alluring and mysterious!
Love your blog and would like to see more Hejab fashion!
Can I reblog you on my blog I think it’s so interesting!
