Not long to go for the launch of the Marni X H&M collaboration to hit the stores. Yes, it will be a mad rush, things will fly off the shelves, there will be pushing and shoving just like the previous collabs before. Is all the frenzy due to actually liking an item and wanting to own it or is it to be a part of the whole experience, the game, the hunt, and just to see who has quick grabbing reflexes.. Well thats the point of the build up right to make everyone hungry ..whether you really like the designer or not is not the point…could I go as far as saying it’s equivalent to a Football match for the boys- the hunger, the adrenaline, the hysteria. Yes, I think so and either way I want to make it to this one and here are some of my picks below.
Benetton is embracing S/S12 with some fun bright crayola colours. The mood of their collection is definitely technicolor and they have embraced bold bright colours with their pieces which makes colour blocking oh so easy even for those whom are fashion clueless. There are some great trousers, jackets, cardigans and tops that put together as an ensemble will even give us modest/conservative fashion lovers are chance to be bold in bright.
For those who are still experiencing cold temperatures this should surely brighten your day.
The lovely Dubai/London blogger Tala Samman from MyFashdiary is the face of local UAE based designer Aiisha Ramadan‘s S/S12 collection ‘La Pouvoir de la Poudre’. Local designer choosing a local blogger is a perfect mix and Tala did a fabulous job and looks stunning in both pictures and video (mashallah)-congratulations on the collaboration.
The dresses and beautiful and a throwback to the 1940′s hollywood glamour. Aiisha’s designs are glamourous with intricate detailing and mixture of chiffons and other fabrics. Below is the the video lookbook and a few images from her collection.

I have fallen truly madly deeply in love with Razan Alazzouni. Saudi designer Razan Alazzouni has caught the hearts of many with her beautifully created delicate designs that embrace and celebrate femininity. Celebs in Hollywood have been seen wearing Razan’s designs are Guiliana Rancic, Kelly Osborne, Emma Roberts, Julie Mond, Kylie Jenner and many more. The combination of soft textures, detailed embroidery and fabrics give her pieces a sense of floaty whimsical playfulness. I first came across Razan’s work on The Overdressed’s blog and ever since then the romance began. Razan even designs abayas and has a ramadan collection out as well. I am looking forward to all her future collections which I am sure will be dreamier than the next!!
