“Homeopaths treat people, not diagnoses”

I have been using homeopathy for as long as I can remember.  I used it with my newborn to treat all sorts of coughs, colds, colic etc and even used homeopathy remedies during my pregnancies and labor!!

I have seen first hand the benefits of using homeopathy.  Homeopathy can be taken along side other medications.  The beauty of homeopathy is that if the remedy doesn’t work you are not left with any nasty side effects it just comes out of your system and you can continue trying different remedies that are recommended till you get your results.  That is why this is one of the few types of treatments that is safe to take during pregnancy.

There are lots of great homeopaths in Dubai, Bahrain and online consultations (Dr. Robert Ullman) if you would like to try homeopathy out.  What I would recommend though is owning this great KIT!

The homeopathy Self care book and kit is sooooo easy to use and a must for every household and for all ages!! I have recently purchased this kit and have so far used it for fevers, eye infections, sore throats, bruises, swellings, anxiety and lots more.. The book is very easy to use and if you purchase the whole kit, you get an assortment of remedies and enough that will keep you going for a good while.  Best part is that homeopathic remedies don’t expire just keep them in stored in a dry cool place.

What Healthy Homeopathy have to say:

Simply put, this is the most user-friendly and effective book you will find on how to treat yourself with homeopathy. What will first jump out at you are the striking graphics: easily readable icons, charts for each of 70 different conditions with the most significant symptoms in bold, and crystal-clear instructions on how and when to take each medicine and what to expect in your healing. Also unique to this book are specific self-care suggestions that we recommend to our patients, in addition to homeopathy, for every condition in the book as well as an optional self-care medicine kit containing the 50 medicines we most commonly prescribe for first-aid and acute conditions.

You may find a variety of books on the shelf on self-treatment with homeopathy, but we are certain you won’t find one that will be easier to use. It is rare to find a book on homeopathic acute care written by doctors based on nearly 20 years of experience. We know what works and what doesn’t and we use many techniques to lead you to the correct medicine. You’d be surprised at how many acute homeopathy books contain lists of sometimes hard-to-find medicines with few concrete recommendations on how to differentiate between them. Your success in treating yourself with homeopathy, using our book, will lead you to help yourself, friends, and family members, share your enthusiasm with others, and, hopefully, to consider seek out an experienced homeopath to treat your chronic health problems.

As if becoming a new mum is not hard enough, you are now faced with the responsibility of lots of decisions to make for the benefit of your child.  Vaccines are one of those mummy milestones all mums go through.  DO I vaccinate? How safe is it? Will I be putting my child’s health at risk if I don’t? Are there side effects? Will schools accept my child if they are not vaccinated? But the Drs say I have to..  There are so many questions that we are faced with when it comes to vaccines.  Many of them we blindly trust our health practioners to know best and we then hope for the best.

It is very important in this day and age for us to start taking our health into our own hands and start that by educating ourselves.  The pharmaceutical industry is a huge money making industry.  I am not saying to stop listening to your doctors and not take your medications but do start to question is this the only way and what your natural options are.  When you do this you are giving your life more value because you deserve that much more.

A friend of mine who I mention a lot on this blog, ALIA ALMOAYED who is a nutrionist and a radio talk show host, recently interviewed Andres Moritz, author of Vaccine-nation: Poisoning the Population one shot at a time.  The interview is an eye opener and immediately I ordered his book.  He makes some very good points regarding vaccines.

As mother’s we try and make the best decision we can regarding the health of our children.  Which brings me to a very important point.  We shouldn’t judge those that choose to vaccinate or not to.  It is not about whether you are pro or against the concept.  It all boils down to one thing, we are all trying to do what is best for our family, so take the time to read and listen to those who advise you against it (since we know what our doctors have to say) and make your decision from there.   Whatever you decide you have then made the best decision for YOU and YOUR family and I wish you the best of HEALTH!

Kim Kardashian has collaborated with leading celeb designer Pascal Mouawad and has launched their debut collection line-Belle Noel.   “Belle Noel was inspired by the true art of costume jewellery that became popular in the 30’s. My collection ranges from understated, everyday pieces to bold, lavish creations. While some styles may be edgier than others it was very important to me that the collection always maintains a feminine appeal.” Says Kim Kardashian. Kim adds, “I also wanted to create a line where you could go from day jeans to a cocktail party effortlessly without ever having to change your jewellery.” Kim’s inspirations for Belle Noel range from classic movie stars like Carole Lombard, Vivien Leigh and Sophia Loren to the fashion muses of the 70’s like Lauren Hutton and Julie Christie.

This amazing cream that comes from a humble nut has so many different benefits.  100%t natural shea butter is a handy thing to have around the house because it is great for everyone to use, from a newborn to grandma! This little nut spreads so much love you can feel it as soon as your skin comes into contact with it.

What is it ? and Where does it come from ?

Shea butter, is a cream-colored fatty substance made from the nuts of karite nut trees that grow in West and Central Africa. Karite trees, or shea trees, are trees that grow in the wild. The Karite tree can take up to 50 years to mature and they can live up to 300 years. In Africa this tree is cherished and cutting down this tree in most areas is prohibited as it is a great source of food, medicine, and income for the population. I came across this post and one that Dr Mercola did on the “controversy” over a comment Gisele made regarding sunscreen.  Here is the post below from this website that I wanted to share with you all.  I am very weary of sunscreen and spf protection.  I am of the belief that most of the stuff in that bottle that is meant to “protect” you is probably toxic and what causes skin cancer and it is possible to practise safe sun.  That is my opinion.  But you can read below and judge for yourself.  I recently purchased Dr Mercola’s safe sunscreen, just waiting for it to arrive.

Recently at Gisele Bunchen’s new natural skin care launch, the supermodel was slammed by Dolival Loao, a cancer expert and head of dermatology for calling sunscreen poison.

“I cannot put this poison on my skin,” the Brazilian Supermodel said, “I do not use anything synthetic.”

Yeah Gisele! Tell it like it is. We at Green Organics are behind you all the way. Gisele’s history as a green activist for the environment and against the use of toxins in skin care is impeccable.

In no way did Gisele claim she doesn’t use sunscreen. She just stays away from chemical sunscreenand uses organic natural physical block sunscreens that are toxic free as her sun protection.

She didn’t tell anyone not to use sunscreen. We would never tell anyone not to use sunscreen. All we ask is for people to stay away from toxic chemical (UV absorbing) sunscreen. Gisele said she doesn’t use the lotions because they contain too many chemicals, according to London’s Daily Mail. That is what Gisele was referring to.

“Sunscreen prevents damage to the skin and is of fundamental importance for the prevention of cancer,” Dolival Loao told newspapers.

Yes we agree with you Dolival, sunscreen prevents UV damage to the skin. But what you don’t tell people is the other harmful causes chemical sunscreen can cause to your skin.

Just read the following articles and find out the damages it can cause.

Organic Sunscreen vs Chemical Sunscreen vs Physical Block Sunscreen

Dolival Loao follows by saying “This is not any poison. When a public person makes a statement like this, it creates confusion.”

We disagree Dolival, chemical sunscreen is toxic. However, confusion may have been created with such a bold statement by Gisele. In Gisele’s defense, lets clarify she is simply telling people to stay away from toxic chemical UV abosorbing sunscreen and to use organic natural and eco friendly sunscreen.

There is even a new Soybean Sunscreen due for release that is non toxic and eco friendly Non Toxic & Eco Friendly.

Dolival, we know the toxic sunscreen companies donate large sums of money to your so called cancer research department. This constant stream of money would not be possible without your heavy chemical endorsements. So we don’t blame you for sticking up for your toxic chemical friends.

Lets not forget all these fancy dinners you get invited to where you are offered “things” which most of us can only dream of!

About ten days ago I came across a colon therapy video on facebook which really struck a cord with me.  After watching that video everytime I looked at someone their colon and what it probably looks would pop into my mind. It’s not a thought I want to keep having everytime I meet someone or watch what a person is eating.  However it did bring to light the importance of detoxing and colon cleansing.

A dear friend of mine, Alia Almoayed, whom I have mentioned before recently went to Turkey on a 4 day juice fast! I love a challenge and the thought of it was intriguing.  Had I not been preggers I would have joined Alia.  Alia talks about her experience on her blog.  If anyone is interested to learn more about the Turkish getaway by the sea, Alia’s readers get a special gift.

The first video below is the video I saw on facebook (which now I think was probably through Alia’s wall; cant remember lol).

The second video is an  interview Alia did on location while on her 4th day of juice fast.

There’s a hot new hub opening up in Bahrain calling all artists!!  This place is where you can get your creative juices flowing in an environment that flourishes it! I am super excited to bring to you Malja!! This place will be a great hit and is exactly what Bahrain needs.  Unity through ART. I cannot wait for the opening.  🙂

Obai and Hill and the Ministry of Culture take Malja Bahrain to the next step

“Obai and Hill organized a press launch for Malja Bahrain – the first creative community art center in Bahrain on March 31st where the main guest was H.E Minister of Culture Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed”

Malja is the first creative community and open collaborative studio in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Malja is the product of the growing need of a creative working and networking hub on the island. An open space filled with innovative, inspiring, and creative minds. Malja is the place to exchange ideas and convert the basic human interactions into the island’s most creative ideas.

She aims to address the issues facing young artists nowadays, the very same issues she faced when she was at the beginning of her career. She also added “Space is the cheapest, yet most vital facility you can provide for a young artist. Then of course come the funding, and the exposure. For an artist, it is never too soon for exposure.”

“Working with Malja’s team is an amazing opportunity, not limited to gaining an experience but it also taught me how important it is for Bahraini youth to shift the focus from business to art for a change, as it will be very motivational for students to choose art as a major and start their career with it” Mariam Al-Shaikh, project manager.

“In Bahrain, we face a phenomenon of talent fading with age. Malja is a central hub that not only gathers art, but preserves it for the future.” Ahmed Al Dosri a member of the Bahrain Arts Society.

Anna Leanda Thackray, voiced out the thoughts of expatriate artists, calling Malja “revolutionary”. “It’s brilliant that artists are supported here by the government, which is something rarely seen in other countries.” “Malja will definitely help Bahrain reach out to the international community, which will lead to attracting investors from overseas.”
