Down to Earth is a cafe/market on High Street Kensington, London that sells organic, vegetarian, vegan and raw food.  I am always on the look out for great bites to eat out in London that cater to food requirements.  Walking into Down to Earth you are greeted with a welcoming menu and colorful food behind the glass.  I was not that hungry but my stomach wouldn’t listen and my eyes were taking over.  I couldn’t decide between the Shepherd’s pie or the Raw Lasagne, so I had both! (face palm).  I am so glad I did because I am the type that would lay in bed late at night wondering what it may have tasted like and I got it out of my system.   Read the rest of this entry »

With the Olympics on and everyone jumping on the bandwagon using the games as part of their advertising campaign to market their products; this one commercial stood out and really touches you.  It really struck a cord with my husband and I since tennis is a major part of our life and our son’s.  The passion, sacrifice, sweat, love and determination that goes into training an athlete no one will understand unless they are within that circle.  This is dedicated to all the parents of athletes out there.

“Being a mom is the hardest job in the world. But it’s also the best.

This Procter & Gamble commercial honors everything that all moms do to help their children succeed by showcasing the amazing moms behind Olympic athletes at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The hardest job in the world is truly the best job in the world.”

Another fabulous Soho find in London Town! My husband (above) discovered this place and made me walk heavily pregnant as I was, telling me he had to show me something and it would be worth it! BOY WAS IT WORTH the walk!! Paul.A.Young Fine Chocolates is created by Paul Young who is a Chocolatier/Patissiere.  This guy lives and breathes what he does. This is a place for those who love excellent, fine, quality, rich chocolates.  The Classic Fudge Brownie is sinfully the most mouth watering, rich, endorphin releasing chocolate brownie I have had to date! It is made with the finest ingredients and 70% dark chocolate.  The bar that is packaged is quite big and good enough to share, although I must admit each time I ate the whole thing.  If you are looking for a chocolate fix this is the place to go to.

Location:

143 Wardour Street
Soho
London W1F 8WA

There are lots of things I love and one of them is discovering new places, especially food spots! Walking in Soho, off Wardour St (43 Old Compton Street, London W1D 6HG 020 7851 1586) a sign caught my eye and I rushed over to see what the place was about.  The restaurant was buzzing, the concept looked great, and the food was deeeeeeelish!!!!! I defintely recommend this place for a quick fast healthy lunch or dinner. Be sure to have lots of napkins at hand!
