IMG_3147 Fashion Forward kicked off to a great start! The buzz and the excitement was felt by everyone.  It was a whole three days of fashion frenzy and I loved every minute of it.  I landed on the day it started so I didn’t get to attend the earlier shows and had to settle my little bubba in before heading to the event.  I missed Emperor 1688 because I was a couple of minutes late, but that gave me the chance to explore the venue and be prepared for the next day. The line up for the Essa show was crazy and although it got off to a late start it was a great a show!  I have to say though the highlight of the night was getting to meet the ever so sweet and down to earth Blogger Ascia.   I  was very impressed with the whole set up and kudos to those who worked soo hard getting the whole event up and running! By far this event can compete with any international fashion event; and it will only get better. Am looking forward to Fashion Forwad later this year in October.  There are loads of pics to come for the following days so stay tuned for Fashion Forward Photo Diary Day 2 and 3.  Read the rest of this entry »

Tasneem Photography  does it again… This woman knows how to capture shots that give you goosebumps!  Tasneem has gone from being a family photographer to focusing now solely on weddings!  So, if any of you are looking for a unique wedding photographer she is THE one!

Charm Ever After – is a unique concept to the Middle East where a bunch of really talented people joined together to showcase their own speciality in forms of imagery and video by telling a story.  This story is about a young couple in love on the day they start their forever.  The photos are breathtaking and makes me want to be a bride all over again (to my husband ofcourse 😉 ) and the video will have you dreaming… sigh… take a look and see for yourself! Even though they are acting; don’t the “bride” and “groom” look perfect together!!

Hey everyone 🙂 I was invited earlier in March to My Wardrobe Middle East’s launch in Dubai at the Ritz Carlton. I love My Wardrobe and its boutique sense of style so I flew in for the night to be there for the event.  The venue was dressed up by the Carousel Girls Event planners which was beautifully done.  I had an overdose of sugar box’s yummiest cake pops and got to bump into a few friends ( BIG shout out to Expose 😉 ).  Sarah Curran CEO of My Wardrobe gave a small speech and everyone left with deliciously scented candles from Diptyque.  It was a lovely elegant evening.  The next day was the My wardrobe shopping event for invitees but I had to fly out and couldn’t stay for that unfortunately.

Below are the pics of the night ..

The much awaited Lady Fozaza event was wild, dramatic, edgy and entertaining! The epitome of what Lady Fozaza blazers are all about.  The event took place at Bloomingdales with yummy mini cupcakes and juices served while a DJ wearing a Lady Fozaza blazer kept the place pumping while everyone there from fashion lovers, Bloggers and supporters got to mingle.  Before the fashion show begun dancers and these ladies who could bend themselves into all sorts of crazy positions ( don’t know what they’re called lol ) kept everyone entertained.  Three new blazers were introduced at the launch in cages and we all got to go home with goodie bags that had the most yummiest macaroons I have ever tasted from PINK CAMEL.

me and my sister in law Maha with our goodie bags 😉
