I am absolutely in LOVE with Reiss‘ new collection for Autumn./Winter12.  When I saw the lookbook in the summer I was giddy with excitement but nothing was out from the collection at the time.  Reiss have really upped their game and revamped their image.  Below are my favorite picks and as you can tell there is a lot I love.  Autumn/Winter collections are usually ideal for us fashion lovers looking for conservative ‘modestified’ styles.  I just adore the trouser skirt … ❤ Now if only someone do something about the weather here in the Middle East so I can wear all this stuff!!!!

I came across this lovely Bahraini label called June that specializes in maxi skirts on Bahrainipreneur’s site (this site is a little gold mine!).  I love the colours and the pleated details.  The maxi skirt is a perfect modest staple!

It’s summer time and soon to be Ramadan and our mood is shifting to purchasing our stock of abayas, jalabiyas, kaftans etc.. At Inayah they have launched an absolutely dreamy English Vintage collection that makes you feel you can beat the heat by dressing in such cool soft flowy fabrics… I love them all especially the Lookbook below.  The cocoon cardigan is very similar to the wraps I design. I love the hijab pins!! I’ve never worn a hijab pin but looking at these ones is a reason to start! What do you think?

Here is a great trend that I am soo happy has made a come back! The fabulous maxi skirt! It has been around for a while now but the beauty is it’s still hanging strong, even through summer when everyone starts to bare more skin; this skirt is still on the trendy list.  This is perfect for those of us who are looking for modestified styles.  Below are a few simple looks on how you can style a maxi skirt and be smack on trend! Am in love with the first one! The colour combination of the coral and grey is gorgeous and love love the pleated skirt!!! Have you been wearing maxi skirts lately? How are yo wearing them? Share them with us in our MFI-Modest Fashion Inspiration segment.
